The CB.Assistant.V2. 2005
This is a 2nd Generation Manipulation Aid. Intended to assist the manipulator with manual combination safe locks. Now the 2005 version (V2) has been updated from the original product (V1) which we had produced back in 1996, and now with the advent of new technology, it is even more stable, faster and more accurate.
• Using a rotary digital absolute encoder and unlike any other manipulation aid - to our knowledge. It has minimal external electronics. Uses your choice of medium : CD& 3 ½" Floppy Disc with Program & Instructions. So far this program has been written in Windows software. This Windows T program has been written using Delphi, and the printer port external electronics interface in "Assembly" (ASM), operating at 20 Million Instructions per second.
. (We are continually upgrading, and writing program to keep up with technology, therefore, software updates will be available from time to time.)
• The Assistant 2005 measures the contact point changes, gives a graphical display with high and low readings, and also a gives a visual display of the wheel positions. (This product requires the facility of loading onto a computer to function - therefore our product needs to be loaded onto your own computer or laptop. )
• This product has the ability to allow the operator to plot the circumference of each wheel. This product now has a resolution, such that, each division of a ‘0 to 100 dial’ is divided into 40. (Currently has an accuracy of 4000 points per revolution )
• This product has the facility to store and save the settings, so that one can leave the job and then return.
• Ideal tool for a classroom environment, teaching the parameters of manipulation. This is a handy tool and is very useful for those who have problems learning to park wheels.
• Display options: for your personal choice between blue or green layout.
• Why we discontinued the V1: New technology has allowed us to produce a more up-to-date tool and is much faster with processing, there have been huge advances in the realm of this type of technology.

The ORIGINAL Assistant 1996. V1.
Our “Assistant 1996” : This is a manipulation aid, (Version 1) it doesn't automatically decode a combination, [a decoder] it assists in the decoding process for those who enjoy the art of manipulation. [Hence we named it the "Assistant", which we commonly call our decoder.]
It's output is to a laptop computer and gives a graphical read out of contact trends and also indicates where each wheel position is at any given time. One of my initial intentions for this tool, was for it to be a training aid for manipulation skills. If you already own one of the auto-dialers, then it is doubtful that you would need this type of product.
This is a manipulation aid which has now been upgraded to Version 2, for combination locks, which outputs it’s signal to a computer giving graphical illustration of contact points and each wheel position. Version 1 was designed in 1996 with my son Richard, using his knowledge of electronics & programming technology and my knowledge of manipulation.

I worked with my son for several years on this project leading up to it's 'birth' in 1996. Our 'Assistant', a combination decoder aid, has different functions from other products on the market, all be it that other products were produced 'at the same time' to have the same intention of ‘helping’ with a lost combination.
